GJS to debut Brother GTX300 hybrid DTG/DTF garment printer at Visual Impact
First opportunity for Australian decorators to see new DTG/DTF printer
GJS has announced it will premiere the newly launched Brother GTX300 hybrid DTG/DTF printer at the Visual Impact Conference and Expo in Sydney next month, marking the printer's first live public demonstration in Australia.
The GTX300, announced by Brother International in July 2026, is its latest garment printer, combining direct-to-garment and direct-to-film printing in a single compact machine at a new, lower price point.
"DTG and DTF are increasingly complementary rather than competing methods, and decorators are telling us they want the hand-feel of DTG when required, without doubling their equipment costs or floor space in order to do DTF," said Greg Stone, Managing Director, GJS.
"The GTX300 addresses that directly."The GTX300 allows decorators to switch between DTG and DTF production workflows without adding additional equipment, enabling them to print on cotton and natural-fibre garments via DTG while extending to polyester, blended fabrics, performance materials, and oversized or non-traditional print locations via DTF.
"The GTX300 is all about doing more with less. Quick-change platens make it fast and easy to switch between garment sizes, all maintenance items and consumables are loaded from the front, and the new, lower price point brings it within reach of decorators who may have previously ruled owning a Brother printer out," Stone added.
The GTX300 features Brother's advanced ink flow technology for consistent, high-resolution output across both printing methods, a seven-inch touchscreen control panel, automated maintenance with continuous white ink circulation, and GTX Graphics Lab software for integrated DTG and DTF workflow management.
Its compact form factor also makes it suitable for small and mid-sized production environments, kiosks and retail environments, as well as higher-volume shops.
GJS will demonstrate the GTX300 live at stand G5 throughout Visual Impact, which runs from Wednesday 2 September to Friday 4 September in The Dome at the Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park. The exhibition will be the first opportunity for Australian decorators to see the machine running live.
