Harris & Bruno Launches Out of This World Embellishments, a Designer Collaboration Program Focused on Digital Embellishment
Harris and Bruno International has announced the launch of Out of This World Embellishments, a new designer collaboration program created to showcase the creative potential of digital embellishment. Developed in partnership with HP, DSCOOP, and Taktiful, the program invites designers to explore next generation tactile effects through a space themed creative mission.
Out of This World Embellishments is built to give designers hands-on experience with the Harris and Bruno ZRX Digital Embellishment Press. Participants will learn how premium effects such as spot coating, raised textures, foil, glitter, and xMatte can transform flat artwork into high impact tactile print. The goal is to help designers better understand how digital embellishment enhances visual storytelling, increases perceived value, and brings a dimensional feel to modern design. “We wanted to create something that gives designers direct access to the technology shaping the future of print,” said Paul Furse, Global Director of Marketing and Business Development at Harris and Bruno. “Digital embellishment continues to evolve as an essential part of how brands stand out, especially when it comes to personalization, versioning, and limited runs. This program gives creatives the chance to experiment, learn, and see how these effects can elevate their work. As an industry, we’re stronger together, and educational events like this are fuel for that engine.”
Designers who sign up will receive a mission guide that outlines artwork specifications, creative guidelines, available embellishment effects, and a template for their art submission. Participants will be encouraged to create a piece inspired by space, exploration, or futuristic storytelling, with full freedom to experiment with any combination of ZRX embellishment effects.
All entries will be reviewed by Harris and Bruno, HP, DSCOOP, and Taktiful, and invited industry partners. Select pieces will be produced as part of a world-wide sample pack distributed throughout the print and design community. Top work will also be submitted at no cost to the designer for consideration in the FSEA Gold Leaf Awards, one of the most respected programs recognizing excellence in embellished print.
Out of This World Embellishments is open to designers of all backgrounds and creative disciplines. There is no cost to participate.
