Sales Representative Role QLD - Remote - Roland DG

 

About the Role

This is a brand-new opportunity for Queensland.

As our Brisbane based Sales Representative, you will be the principal point of contact between Roland DG, and our dealer channel across the state as well as promoting the Roland Dg portfolio to potential end-users. This newly created role is designed to strengthen our presence in Queensland, deepen relationships with existing customers, and actively identify and develop new market opportunities. 

You will manage and grow your territory by understanding customer needs, positioning the right solutions, and building long-term, trusted partnerships. This role offers autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to shape how Roland DG continues to grow in Queensland.

As Roland DG does not currently have an established office in the state, this position will operate fully remotely, with travel across Queensland and occasional interstate travel for events and meetings.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow customer relationships across Queensland.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer meetings, demonstrations and tailored product presentations.
  • Achieve sales targets and effectively manage your territory pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting.
  • Represent Roland DG at customer visits, dealer events, trade shows, and industry activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams including service, marketing, and product management to support customer success.

What We’re Looking For 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Business (Sales) or similar qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, ideally within a technical, industrial, or B2B and B2C environments.
  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience.
  • Industry experience advantageous but not essential.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Customer first mindset with excellent communication skills (written, phone, and face-to-face).
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, with a demonstrated track record of achieving results.
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
  • Organised and confident using CRM systems & Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • A genuine interest in technology and helping customers grow their businesses.
